Use of Bouncy Castles (or Similar) at Knockholt Village Centre

If you’d like to use a bouncy castle (or similar inflatable equipment) during your event, please read the following important information.

A Few Key Things to Know:

- Our insurance doesn’t cover bouncy castles: Our Public Liability Insurance does not include bouncy castles or similar equipment used in the Centre.

- Your safety matters: Before hiring any inflatable equipment, we recommend reading the ROSPA safety guidance (https://www.rospa.com/leisure-...).

Hiring a Bouncy Castle?

If you're planning to use a bouncy castle, please make sure:

- You hire from a reputable company that will provide setup and safety instructions.

- You provide us with proof of insurance—both yours and the hire company’s.

- Only one bouncy castle is allowed in the Hall at any time.

Insurance Requirements:

To go ahead with using a bouncy castle, we need to see:

1. Your own Public Liability Insurance – covering you and your guests during your event. (it is possible that your own Household Insurance provides this cover - but you need to confirm this with your Insurance Company and provide us with the confirmation from them)

2. The hire company’s insurance – covering their equipment and setup/removal.

Please note: The hire company’s insurance only covers them. It doesn’t protect you or your guests.

What to Do:

- Email both insurance documents to: bookings@kvcc.org.uk together with a signed copy of our 'Terms and Conditions for Bouncy Castle Use' -click here

- Send these at least one week before your event

- Without this, we won’t be able to allow bouncy castle use and may need to cancel your booking.

An additional fee of £15 will be added to  your booking fee to help cover our additional costs.
