Knockholt Bowling ClubLocation
at the end of Ivy Lane in as peaceful a setting as one could wish, the
Knockholt Bowling Club has a well-kept green and pavilion. The Club was
re-formed in 1990, the old club having ceased playing in the 1950's.
The new Club was the result of a lot of hard work by a dedicated number
of Knockholt and Halstead residents, who spent time and money and a lot
of hard work getting the necessary authority to proceed with the
building of the green and the pavilion. The Club is a part of the
Knockholt Village Club and all bowling club members are automatically
members of the Knockholt Village Club.
There is always at least one Open Day each year when everyone is welcome to discuss issues with Club officials and, more importantly, try their hand at the game.
The Season* runs from late April until the end of September;
* friendly matches are played most weekends and Wednesdays;
* There is also a Roll-up on alternate Tuesday evenings throughout
the season, for members to enjoy an evening of bowls without the

* Mens league matches on Thursday and Friday evenings;
* We also enter teams during the Winter in Indoor Bowls leagues at Sevenoaks and Bromley.
Club has teams in the Sevenoaks Leagues and the North West Kent
League. Other than league matches, the Club operates a policy of
playing mainly mixed friendly matches, all played as triples (three
players each team).
